Teacher Name: Fantawood - Marco Quacquarini
Marco Quacquarini aka Fantawood was born in Tolentino in 1983. From an early age he attended his grandfather's carpenter's workshop learning day after day to love wood. With time and after various work experiences, he understands that his inclination is to work free and with his hands. In 2014 he opened a woodworking and design workshop in San Severino where he expresses his creativity and passion for wood. In 2015 he starts the Wood About project together with MastroT, Testa di legno and Armoni design. In 2018 he finally returned to his grandfather in Caccamo di Serrapetrona, in the heart of the village at Via Nazionale 11, and resumed work in the historic family workshop. Since then Fantawood has not stopped, continuing to work and learn an endless craft.

Workshop Description: The course will have an initial theoretical part of about an hour where the fundamentals of the technique will be covered, followed by a practical part of about three hours where participants will make their own joint to take home. Participants will also be provided with a link to the fantawood.it website with all the theoretical course info, which they can download or consult at any time.

Schedule: Thursday and Friday from 14:45 to 19:00

Location: historical camp

Maximum number of participants per slot: 8 with the requirement to already have a minimum of familiarity with wood: thus knowing how to use a tape measure, a square, a saw and a chisel.
