The lesson is divided according to the following program: in the first 10 minutes, general directions on the use of carving gouges and wood species suitable for carving will be given. In the remaining time, practical work will be carried out with the correct techniques for using the gouges and the final finish of the artifact (staining and waxing). Students will be provided with a wooden board on which a bas-relief will be carved with a design proposed by the teacher or drawn by the student. The workpiece made will remain the property of the students.
