Organetto a cUkù
“Organetto a cUkù” was born from the union of two instruments that are part of the popular tradition of two very distant areas: the diatonic accordion, present in Italy and Europe, and the ukulele, the Hawaiian instrument par excellence, very popular for several years also in the rest of the world.
The group offers a new repertoire of “Balfolk” made up of dances (Circassian, Scottish, mazurkas, bourrée, rondeau, waltz etc.) that the musicians themselves teach both during the concert and through preparatory workshops. There are also traditional Marche dances, such as the best known: the Saltarello.
Federico Cippitelli: diatonic accordion
Marco Fermani: ukulele, melodica, stompbox
