In the name of Celtic punk, the band from Ancona plays and has fun, trying to convey passion and good humour to anyone who will listen to them over a pint of ice-cold beer.
Following in the footsteps of Dropkick Murphis and Flogging Molly, the Zeckyboys have created an authentic Celtic rock band that will rock the Mortimer Pub.
All members have an extremely broad background, they are long-standing musicians with extensive live experience. Their music, contaminated by punk, folk, heavy metal and even classical music, finds its best expression in high-energy gigs, a wave of energy dancing between accordion, bouzouki, violin, drums and the electricity of guitar and bass.
Atmospheres hovering between the menhirs of the druids, the dive bars of the old ports and the remote suburbs, dragging rhythms that leave you breathless as in ‘Dirty Brands’, their first album, released in 2022.
