Wind Rose
The international public knows them for having metallised ‘Diggy diggy hole’, the main theme of the famous game Minecraft - more than 60 million views on YouTube - however, unbelievable but true, this band from Pisa has done even better, translating into music the Tolkien imagery revolving around dwarves.
Wind Rose's lyrics and stage presence are, in fact, inspired by the fantasy settings of The Lord of the Rings, just like their new album ‘Trollslayer’, which takes up the events narrated in The Hobbit.
Swords as sharp as ever, hammers always ready to strike the anvil, the five most powerful dwarves of power metal have toured Europe far and wide, leaving the mark of their clashing metal everywhere, such as on the stages of Bloodstock (UK), Masters of Rock (Czech Republic) and Germany's incandescent Wacken Open Air.
They come to Montelago to shine the bewitching light of the Arkenstone from the Main Stage even brighter.
