Rudemà

Veneto
August 7th at 5:30 p.m.
Balfolk Stage

Rudemà is a trio born in the province of Belluno that has been riding the national folk scene for over 15 years, proposing a world music show with reinterpretations of traditional songs and their own compositions, ranging from French balfolk to Irish folk, passing through traditional music from Veneto and northern Italy.
2011 saw the release of the group's first record, ‘A perdifiato nel bosco’, followed by the more recent ‘Aquiloni’, albums that can be listened to in one breath, capable at the same time of dragging you far away, freeing the mind, but also transmitting the remote echo of ancient ties.
Their original musical proposal has thus enabled the Rudemà to gather important acclaim over the years and win numerous competitions, including the Scuola di Musica Popolare prize in the National Folk & World Award (2017), and to perform at the best-known Italian balfolk festivals and the splendid international folk music and dance festival, the Portuguese Andanças.

Luca Ventimiglia: flutes, bagpipes, tarota, melodica
Fabio Reolon: guitar, vocals
Francesco Chiarini: fiddle, nyckelharpa
