Malembà
At the heart of the Malembà project is a musical exploration that knows no geographical boundaries: it starts from the warm, percussive roots of the Mediterranean and travels north to the energetic, captivating melodies of the countries bordering the North Sea. The result is an overwhelming listening experience, where fast rhythms and Celtic harmonies merge in a modern and multifaceted sound embrace.
Founded in 2023 as a quartet, Malembà is now a collective of seven musicians united by the same vision: to transform the stage into a space for authentic sharing. Around the stable core, friends and collaborators of all ages and backgrounds come together from time to time in a continuous creative exchange that reflects their idea of music as a universal tool capable of overcoming all barriers. In a world that often divides, Malembà chooses to unite with a repertoire that is an invitation to dance, reflect and meet. Whether at an international festival or a village square, each of their performances becomes a collective ritual in which audience and musicians come together in a single flow of energy.
