Tralala Lovers

BALFOLK | France
August, 7th 06:00 pm
Balfolk Stage
Tralala Lovers bring explosive energy to traditional dance music. The two musicians, singers and multi-instrumentalists offer an exhilarating dance experience that unreservedly mixes original creations with creative reinterpretations of folk repertoires.
They joyfully switch from accordion to tambourine, violin to banjo, offering finely crafted, lively and romantic mini-epics that belong neither to the past nor to a nostalgic “return to tradition” trend. A pop and acoustic universe, with cheeky lyrics and melodies that are easy to learn and sing along to.
From Scottish to polka, from waltz to Noirmoutier branle, the Tralala ball is a folk journey that takes you to the four corners of Europe.
The duo shares a taste for vocal harmonies, sound discoveries and the rhythmic and dancing poetry of the French language. Their repertoire is enriched by the special sounds of Italian and exotic languages such as Creole and Romani.
Whether you are an experienced dancer or a clumsy beginner, it is useless to resist the call of the dance floor: the contagious joy of the Tralala Lovers is like the song of the sirens. A dance that is as much about dancing as it is about listening and watching!

Vincent Gaffet: vocals, accordion, componium, jew's harp, percussion
Diego Meymarian: vocals, violin, banjo, jew's harp
