After years of absence from the scene, the most mysterious masked producer in the Marche region is back with a new look and an even more ferocious new sound. Formerly known as Hlfmn, Half Man Half Not brings to the stage an ancestral journey rich in electro-metal influences, pagan music and sound shamanism. The heavy reference to medieval instruments gives his music a ritualistic and ancient flavour, while relentless industrial beats and downtuned guitar riffs bring the mind and body back to the present moment in a continuous exchange between different eras and sounds. With one eye on the past and one ear to the future, Half Man Half Not's sonic exploration creates a temporal passage through a sound that, although easily inscribed in the current cultural fabric, is pervaded by an ancient trace that is as unexpected as it is unmistakable.
