The Scratch is the Irish band you don't expect, capable of inventing a genre that is influenced by metal, prog, folk and even psychobilly, defying any label, combining tradition and underground.
Founded in Perrystown in 2016 by what remained of a heavy metal band, Red Enemy, the following year, during a trip to perform at the Rory Gallagher Festival in Ballyshannon, The Scratch made a video that went viral on the web, getting a million views in just one week. After two debut EPs, their first studio album, Couldn't Give a Rats, was released in 2020, followed by Mind Yourself in 2023, nominated for the Choice Music Prize, which launched subsequent tours in the UK and the United States.
In January 2026, the new single ‘Pullin' Teeth’ ft. Kevin Rheault has been released, a song composed from an old piece of music during the North American tour in support of Dropkick Murphys, and immediately added to the set list, perfect for previewing their latest album ‘Pull Like A Dog’.
Magnetic, hypnotic, almost hieratic, it is in the live dimension that they give their best, leaving everyone breathless.

Conor ‘Dock’ Dockery: guitar, backing vocals
Gary ‘Snakeskin’ Regan: guitar, backing vocals
Cathal McKenna: bass, backing vocals
Daniel ‘Lango’ Lang: cajón, percussion, vocals
