Trinaluna
Trinaluna is a Celtic progressive music group formed in Perugia in 2021 by musicians united by their love of Irish tradition and their desire to explore new expressive possibilities, blending it with languages and influences from different genres.
In 2022 the band decided to add a full rhythm section to the original line-up of flute, violin, guitar, cello and vocals, expanding their tonal and expressive possibilities and ushering towards a new creative season. Without sacrificing the essence of Nordic musical tradition, Trinaluna allows the elegance of classical music and the tribalism of funk and jazz rhythms to flow into its compositions, in order to tell forgotten stories and speak of faraway places.
In its five years of activity, the group has taken part in various festivals throughout Italy, including two appearances at the ECC in Montelago, in 2021 and 2023, performing continuously throughout Umbria and the Marche regions and establishing itself as an active and recognisable presence on the local music scene.
Minna Pehkonen: vocals, cello
Sayako Obori: violin
Federico Pedini: guitar
Giovanni Petrini: flutes
Ruggero Bonucci: bass
Rocco Panzanelli: drums, vocals
