The Violons Barbares are a wild trio of extraordinary musicians with incredible vocal abilities.

Active since 2010, they pay homage to and blend their three respective folk traditions - Mongolian, Bulgarian and French - in a harmonic pop key, through a mix of groove and experimentation.

With a strong nomadic spirit, their different languages are seemingly distant, and yet they combine to take their audience on a musical journey around the world. From folk to Kazakh blues to electric rock, their energetic sound features Balkan melodies, pounding rhythms and solemn overtone singing.
