Teacher name: Lorenzo Procino

The course will consist of making a CIGAR BOX GUITAR and will last four days, Wednesday through Saturday for a total of 6 hours. The lessons will be both theoretical and practical.
Theoretical lessons:

• Types of woods used
• Types and use of lutherie tools
• Types of strings
• Calculation of strings according to Taylor theory
• Calculation of fret spacing
• Amplification of the instrument

Practical lesson: Students will make their own CIGAR BOX GUITAR using the equipment and materials provided by the instructor. Students will also be able to work independently outside of class time at their tent/camper. At the end of the lessons, if the instrument is not finished, students will still be able to take it home to finish it relying on online support from the teacher.
