Faun
Faun is one of the world's leading medieval folk bands.
Combining ancient and contemporary sounds with vibrant lyrics in different languages of the Old Continent, they first got together in 1998 and have not stopped since as they continue to turn out eclectic performances and award-winning albums. Their repertoire ranges from melancholic ballads to more exuberant pieces, a mix that has toured the planet several times. Their bond with nature and the environment is strong, as suggested by the group’s name, invoking as it does a spirit of the forest and the world of ancient myth.
