Gens d'Ys
Since its creation in 1993, Gens d'Ys has become synonymous with Irish dance in Italy. Founded by a group of friends, it became the first Italian academy dedicated to the traditional dances of the Emerald Isle.
With vital choreography and music, their performance is punctuated by frequent costume changes, as traditional dances alternate with extraordinary original reinterpretations. The act is a crescendo of speed, skill and excitement, as the audience becomes so involved in the dance that it creates an atmosphere of an authentic Irish party.
