Blodiga Skald were born in Rome in 2014, The idea is to mix the modern metal sound with a folk carefree one, focusing the songwriting on the (mis)adventures of a group of orcs ready to do anything.

The live band’s approach is highly self-deprecating but it does not disdain moments of seriousness on the occasion of more reflective and less carefree songs such as in “The Undrunken Curse”, the band’s second full length, in which growl tracks, melodic songs and instrumental interludes live together.
